Wealth vs. Rich
Rich is having more than enough money or possessions at a particular time. Rich is a healthy buying power of someone and his or her potential of ownership. Being rich is having more than enough money for one’s needs or for one’s monetary desires. Please understand the amount of riches decreases as spending of riches increases and calls for the continued effort or work of the person to maintain the riches. When the person does not control this work or effort, the riches become endangered. Again, rich is temporary, but can last for long lengths of time, even a lifetime. It is not necessarily the building of wealth, but the continual earning of income or rewards.

Wealth is having full control of your financial wellbeing. It is having passive and continual income as your resources to create perpetual riches. It is putting your money to work, instead of your money putting you to work (Your money can work longer and better than you can). Wealth is a practice of principles in spending, investing, and earning. Luck has nothing to do with it, nor does bloodline, ethnicity or inheritance. Building wealth is not rocket science and is not proportional to one’s education level; however, it does call for a proper MindSet, which includes a hunger to learn, confidence, and discipline.

Our youth can easily develop a MindSet of Wealth and we can show you how.

Tip for Smart Shopping

Shopping Tip for the Emotional Shopper

There is an old saying, “Never go shopping at a grocery store while you are hungry.” The problem is that you spend from your stomach and not your budget. You will buy unnecessary items just because you are hungry, like snacks, and all kinds of impulse items found at the cash register. As much as I know this, I still must eat before going shopping. It drives me crazy; but it saves me money…lots of money!

So, what do you think happens when you go clothes shopping and you are thinking about your special friend or a big party coming up, or even about the prom? Believe me, most of the time you are done before you even enter the first store. Done, done, done! Everything becomes more important than your budget. So, budget first, take only the money you can afford to spend, and then go shopping.

Budget your money before you go shopping or else you will most likely fall victim to emotional spending. This is when your emotions take over your behavior and decision. Your emotions decide to put “needs” and “wants” into one basket, with the “wants” on top. Grab your MindSet and shake out the emotions when you reach for your money. Both elements, your thoughts and your emotions, will take you to another level and away from your budget.

Learn to prepare your shopping venture, stretch your dollars. Remember, spending is the foundation of creating wealth.

The Process of Elimination
Searching for Your Truth

When trying to make a decision, you may often begin with multiple opinions, everybody has an opinion. As you learn which opinions are not valid or incorrect, you automatically work your way closer to the truth or to the best decision for you. You eliminate the bad decision. This is the process of elimination. The triangle expresses how this works by starting off with a wide range of opinions, or multiple opinions, and sorting them out to leave only a single truth. Even if the absolute truth is not discovered, you have eliminated many potentially incorrect opinions and are left with opinions that are usually closer to the best decision.
